This is the very first plate in the DeGrazia’s Children of the Sun Collection. Produced by Edwin M. Knowles China for Artists if the World in 1987 in an edition strictly limited to 150 firing days. I first learned of Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia’s art when I lived in Tucson, Arizona. His Valley of the Sun Gallery Museum (degrazia.org) is located there. His charming depiction of children of the Southwest continue to grace the desert and many homes, galleries and restaurants. This plate is like-new with no scratches, chips or cracks.
