French Poupee Millet Mermaid

Each Poupée Millet doll is a unique work of art. No two dolls are alike. Each Poupée Millet doll is handmade and hand sewn. Two artists painstakingly make these one-of-a-kind dolls, Serge Chichportich and Pablo Parés. On top of this mermaid’s head is gregarious fish and a treasure chest filled with gold. Her hands and feet are porcelain, the body a unique, colorful polyester fabric filled with millet seed (bird seed). Her body is made from a brightly colored polyester material. There are a dew small holes from age. This magical mermaid is about 30 years old. She is 15 1/2 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. Her hands face and sea-themed hat are in excellent condition. Her right hand is chipped. This one is not signed but is believed to be created by Serge sometime in the 90s. Please review photos as all sales are final.
