What you see here is me daring to take a risk. Me. Betting on myself. Starting a company that values the artistry of old. I am determined to save it one glorious piece at a time.

In today’s fast-fashion, 2-minute microwave dinner, throw-away culture, I want to rescue as much artistry as I can. And hopefully, help a new generation discover the beauty of studio art pottery, hand-blown glass, hand-tooled textiles, carefully-crafted ceramics, delicate hand-painted china, First Nations creations. And most of all, help others enjoy a treasure crafted decades, even centuries ago.

The Aesthetic movement began in the late 1800s. A movement centered around the belief that art should be beautiful for the sake of beauty, nothing more. Hence the saying “art for art’s sake”. Beautiful creations, artistic endeavors whose entire only reason for being was to bring beauty into the world.

My hope is to act as matchmaker. Rescue vintage treasures and find forever homes, so new owners can appreciate the artistry, attention to detail and care these items received from those who brought them into being.
